Today is the day that our new lease starts. To say I’m excited would be the understatement of the year. Moving is exhausting so I’ll be glad to get settled in – especially since our living arrangement has been disheveled for the past month or so. The plan is to make a couple of trips this evening to bring over some of the items we’ve been holding onto (pots, pans, clothing, the china) and then all of the big item will be brought over tomorrow.
Aside from moving, I’m hoping that this weekend will include a cleaning of our old apartment and a trip to IKEA. What are you hoping to tackle this weekend??

I hear you on the disheveled living situation. We’re in an apartment for 5 weeks between the sale of our old home and the closing of a new one. Thanksfully we’ll have more time to move into the new place as opposed to the 1 week from the old place.
Hope you guys get settled in soon & that it starts to feel like home quickly.

Now that I’m planning my wedding and the big day is getting closer, it’s so nice to flip through your archives and see what it was like for someone else to go through this crazy planning process.
