Friday Fancy

After almost a full week at our new place, I feel at home.  Truth be told, I felt at home when we first saw the apartment back in January but now that our things are here, I don’t know how we lived anywhere else.  Heck, even the skin-tone wall color has grown on me which!  There’s still plenty to do that includes unpacking and donating but so far, it’s coming along and we’re slowly finding a place for everything and donating all the things we’ve realized we don’t need.

  1. 1. That’s the biggest avocado I’ve ever seen.

    2. I think you should be required to cook everything on the stove and not just popcorn. It’s an extension of your blog title.

    3. It’s Friday in Lent and that means scouring Philly for a NYC style pizza yet again. Jealous of your proximity to real pizza.

  2. Yay for perfect avocados!

And I’ve recently started to fall in love with quinoa (I know, I’m late on the bandwagon), but our new favorite fast food restaurant has a Mediterranean quinoa salad with tomatoes, broccoli, kalamata olives, and feta that puts me over the moon!

  3. Very excited for you to be in the new apartment. It is super cute and I am looking forward to seeing what you do to it.

I saw the tip the other day, it’s awesome. We had the best avocado we’ve ever had here yesterday. Absolutely perfect. Have a nice weekend!
